He's got some sort of rare fungal infection in his lungs.

He's starting treatment today, but he's got a 50/50 chance of surviving.

He's acting mostly normal so I just went and got tons of toys and treats for him in case he doesn't pull through. I want his last days to be happy.

Yall say some prayers or send positive thoughts or sacrifice a goat or blood magic or whatever tf

My poor kitty. I've had him like 13 years now. He's my best friend.

I love him more than most of my family.

That's just what the vet(s) said. (He saw 2)
They sent off additional labs like urine go make sure it's the specific fungus she thinks it is. I didn't realize it was rare honestly. When she said he had a lung infection, I was like "oh ok cool. We just gotta do some antibiotics" and she was like "no. This one is rare, and he might not make it." Lame

Honestly, no better :-(
Not worse, so that's good!
They switched up his medication treatment. He's on 2 different meds now.
He's going back again tomorrow and I think they're going to do another chest xray to compare.
He's lost half his body weight. He's so thin. Ive been giving him lots of cat treats for extra calories.
