Absolutely! Asesprite is worth it if you are purely looking for an easy to use pixel art program. I just use it for a different type of pixel art than I would for photoshop.

Aaaahhhhh thank you so much!!! :)) it's acrylic paint on my all purpose sketchbook. I took it in Photoshop however and color corrected it so that it didn't look as desaturated as how it got scanned with a couple of reflections and lighting effects :))
