Somehow, I managed to survive another year!

My wrap up is going to be different from everyone else's, because I'm not a professional content creator, I'm just an amateur who loves art, loves animation, loves music, loves gaming---- and loves newgrounds.

I've been here (on newgrounds)for almost 20 years!!! 🙀

I managed to do half of Inktober (and I actually ended up selling most of this artwork.)

I donated around $500 to newgrounds this year. If you can, consider becoming a supporter. Newgrounds doesn't sell your data and the goal is for Newgrounds to be totally ad free. And the BEST part about Newgrounds is that there are no freaking bots or algorithms running the place like crappy Facebook.

There's a lot I'd like to say here about my personal life's events this year, but I can't.

I had a very busy year.

I stood up for my beliefs and I maintained my integrity and there was a situation(s) in which I spoke up regarding the ethics of said situation and I'm proud of me and my loved ones are proud of me and I know I did the right thing--- but it cost me, and it cost me big.

And that's all I can say about that matter.

Doing what's right isn't always doing what's easy.

But I'm sleeping well at night. 🙃

Despite that ominous detail--- I got to experience a lot of good this year.

My niece (who used to live with me. Some of yall remember her) had a baby! He's adorable as hell. I've been snuggling him a lot.

My oldest of my 57 kids I had with @kidray76 and @FUNKbrs graduated college and got a job immediately. He's a biologist and loves his job. He did have to relocate to Texas, so I miss him.

I went to see the total solar eclipse, which was incredible

BTW. I also got to see the northern lights, here in freaking Louisiana! And that comet!!!

I went to the beach several times.

I went all the way to California! Went to all the locations from Fallout New Vegas, Disneyland, the LaBrea tar Pits--crossed off a lot of bucket list places.

I had to have thyroid surgery 👎

But my biopsy was clear and I recovered quickly 👍

🎄 I mailed out like 30ish Christmas cards this year. If you never got yours, lemme know in the comments just so I can double check addresses next year.

🎅 I had a decent Christmas break. I went to see a ton of Christmas lights in Marshall, TX. It was pretty. Then we went to a local Italian place where the owner was from Brooklyn. It was legit.

🪅 Goals for 2025? The older I get, the less resolutions mean. I just want peace.

I want to work hard on my health--- not so much getting skinny or hot. Just health

I want to go on my first cruise.

(You ever been on a cruise? Hmu. What do I need to know?)

I want to go visit my little sister who moved to New York.

Other than that, no big plans. I just want to see my circle of friends and loved ones happy.
